Day 86 — Two Double Calendars Held Overnight

Today I opened two Double Calendar positions — one 2/7 DC and one 9/23 DC — but unlike the recent quick same-day exits, there wasn’t enough volatility during the power hour to book quick profits. Both trades are being held overnight as part of the plan.

Sometimes the right move is to simply stay patient and let theta do its work.

💭 Reflection

  • 🕒 The market stayed flat with very limited movement in the afternoon session.
  • 🔁 Unlike the previous few trades, there was no quick volatility compression to take early profits.
  • 📈 Holding both trades overnight is aligned with the October trading plan — giving theta time to work while staying within risk parameters.

In quieter markets, patience is not optional — it’s a strategy.
