Week 6 Review: August 18–24, 2025

πŸ“ Period: Monday–Sunday
πŸ“Œ Trades Closed: 2
πŸ“Œ Total Profit: $937
πŸ“Œ Win Rate: 100%

This week was calm and focused β€” only two trades were taken, and both were double calendars executed with clear structure and discipline. No new trades were opened on Thursday (Aug 22), as I focused on backtesting alternative DTE entry strategies.

🧠 Strategy Recap

After a tough Week 5 (with the Day 33 drawdown), Week 6 was a controlled rebound. Both trades stayed within the expected range and decayed favorably. No forced setups. The focus shifted toward consistency and selectivity.

πŸ“Œ I also used Friday (Day 40) to backtest the 0/7 DTE Friday strategy. While the win rate was ~50%, the drawdowns and negative expectancy ruled it out for now without better filters.

βœ… Final Recap

  • Week 6 = Consistency & Discipline
  • βœ… 2 for 2 Wins
  • πŸ’° Total P&L: $937
  • πŸ” R&D focus on 0/7 DTE
  • πŸ”’ No overexposure or weekend risk
